Description
Sculpture I made in my ART 151 class of a Final Fantasy XI wyvern.
Started by just constructing the shape out of wire. Then I covered it in plaster and chiseled it into shape as best I could. This is where I had the most trouble getting it to stay balanced on its feet (especially since the lower legs kept on breaking and I had to re-plaster them each at least six times). -_- Eventually I gave up on it being perfect, and went ahead and painted it.
I didn't use references when I was sculpting it (though I really should of), I did pull up some screenshots to assist when painting.
It stands about 8 and half inches tall.
Sorry I couldn't get better photos of it.

Absolutely wonderful. DRG was my main (although the account is still active, I don't play, more just log in and run around with my Wyvern out) and this brings back a lot of happy memories.
