Wow I can't believe I forgot to post pictures of this costume! O.o
Haha well, old news now, but I made this literally a year ago. Wore it to Anime Expo '07 and to the Final Fantasy XI Fan Fest 2007.
The outfit is a composition of different armor pieces from FFXI. Mainly the Jaridah Peti, Barone Cosciales, Drachen Gloves (in most of the shots), and my own weird hybrid shoes of the Jaridah Nails and my own imagination, and finally the polearm in the upper left pictures is the Engetsuto model. XD Here is a picture from model viewer of what most of that gear looks like approximatly in game:
