Description
My final project for my traditional Japanese wood block printing class.
We had to use at least six wood block sides for printing, and it had to be a landscape or a diptych. I decided to go for the landscape and drew inspiration from the Japanese Tea Gardens on San Francisco, though many artistic liberties where taken when actually planning out the design.
It took forever carving all those blocks, and just inking and printing several copies took an entire day.
Again there were some registration issues, and a bit of ink bleeding, but I think it came out alright.

You're SO lucky to have a class like that. I really love it and how sumi-e it looks. The waterfall is epic.
